Danica Pension Follows the Winds of Change with Rebrand to “Danica”

We are excited to announce that our Network Member in Denmark, Danica Pension, has officially rebranded to “Danica.” This name change aligns with the launch of a new, ambitious strategy that emphasizes, “Satisfied customers are the key to growth.”

CEO Mads Kaagaard unveiled the company’s vision through 2028, focusing on customer satisfaction as the foundation. “We have a strong starting point, with our customers becoming increasingly satisfied. We aim to be the preferred pension provider for the people of Denmark and make it easy and convenient for them to be our customers. This will be achieved through offering easy digital solutions, relevant and excellent health services, attractive returns, and providing good advice. These elements will drive growth at Danica Pension in the coming years,” says Kaagaard.

The decision to simplify the name reflects familiarity, as many customers and partners already refer to the company as “Danica.” Kaagaard notes, “The change, together with our new strategy, will signal new winds and great ambitions in Danica.”

Big Ambitions – A Life in Balance

Danica has recently moved its headquarters from Lyngby to Postbyen in Copenhagen, to the brand new headquarters for Danske Bank Group. This relocation signifies a new chapter for the company under our Forward 28 – Danica Pension strategy, emphasizing not only our goals of working even closer with our group but also our expanded role in preventive health services, crisis support, and rehabilitation.

New banners throughout the organization display "Danica – Pensions, Insurance and Health," heralding the launch of a new media campaign, “A Life in Balance”, which highlights the importance of reaching out before it’s too late.

Kaagaard adds, "We envision ourselves as more than just a pension company. We provide our customers with preventive health services before issues arise, support them during crises, and help them return to everyday life and work. Our name should increasingly reflect this comprehensive approach."
