In Albania, SIGAL was established in 1999 and has been part of the UNIQA Group since March 2007. The company offers life insurance, reinsurance solutions and non-life insurance products. Their portfolio consists of over 500,000 policies. SIGAL UNIQA has a no. 1 position in the group life insurance, pension and medical insurance market. Products and services are distributed through an extensive network of own sales staff, agents, banks and brokers.
Broad product portfolio
The group has a wide product portfolio that allows it to cater to a large customer base. It offers a range of insurance products classified into three divisions: Life Insurance, Health Insurance and Property and Casualty Insurance. Its life insurance products include death risk insurance, index-linked life insurance, child care insurance, pension plans, and traditional endowment insurance. Through its Health Insurance division, it offers health packages, wellbeing plans, health insurance for children, optical and dental insurance and telemedicine services.
